A place where pork blooms? Tulip is by That Latte Place, a prominent cafe which makes exceptionally delicious eggs benedict dish. Now, it has an expanded menu and a more pleasant and comfortable interior. The name Tulip is from the initals of That Latte Place “TLP” with an addition of “U” and “I” which feels like more together. Started in December last year. It’s more like a proper dining restaurant compare to That Latte Place in Cheras which resembles more of a cafe. Three shops at the moment. Maps is more relaxed, casual and laid back. Whereas this outlet is more suitable for heavier comfort meals.

To ensure their customers have the best experience, Tulip insist of making everything from scratch,
be it the sauces they use or the patties and bread they serve.

Oh-My-Rib! (RM35.90)
A complex spice rub, elegant hardwood smoke, tangy sweet sauce, all underpinned and held together by the distinct flavour of pork. Tender and juicy, they tug cleanly off the bone but doesn’t fall off it.

Signature Pork-Chetta (RM25.90)
Home roasted porchetta, crunchy skin-on pork belly rolled and marinated with their blend of herbs and spices, served with fresh greens and herbed infused pork gravy on the side. It takes half a day just to cook this heavenly dish. A really interesting and sinful porky dish to die for. The skin was so crunchy and the pork belly was marinated on point. Definitely recommended.

“Siu Yuk” Egg Ben (RM19.90)
A simple and hearty breakfast dish which wins everyone’s heart. Perfectly runny poached eggs covered with thick and flavourful hollandaise sauce on a toasted bread. The ‘Siu Yok’ was amazing with a hint of smokiness. Sautéed mushrooms are juicy and delicious.
