VCR Stacks is a humble sandwich bar which is also VCR sister cafe, specializing in stacked sandwiches and pastries, and of course, coffee. Black Angus pastrami with sauerkraut is highly flavorful and might be a tad salty for some tastebuds.

The Farm Foodcraft
The Farm Foodcraft is, quite literally, a farm (and a restaurant, of course). Every dish they serve is crafted using fresh ingredients that are grown and harvested in their very own urban farming lab. What they can’t grow, they source directly from local farmers and vendors. Most of their ingredients get to the kitchen the same day they’re harvested – it doesn’t get any fresher than that.

Breakfast Thieves Kuala Lumpur is the twin sister of the original Breakfast Thieves neighbourhood cafe – which is housed in the remains of an old chocolate factory in Fitzroy Melbourne, Australia. It’s a trendy cafe located next to Pulp by Papa Palheta with beautiful ambience.

Nourish, located in Bukit Damansara is the sister outlet of Kenny Hills Bakers. It serves up healthy brunches, salads, and healthy twists on favourites such as chili pan mee and chili con carne. They also carry some of Kenny Hill Bakers signature pastries and cakes – but gluten-free and refined sugar free!

The Good Batch is a cafe which serves really good food with coffee for those cafe hopping adventures. Kitchen is always open, and food will always be served ! 😀 (something uncommon here in Uptown- usually cafes would close their kitchen during tea time)

Ground is a little spot away from the usual square in Damansara Uptown. The cafe is brightly lit with a lot of plants around the cafe. Their signature dirty coffee was pretty good and goes pretty wel with oat milk.

Everything begins the morning after. *insert cheeky smile. Don’t think too much; i mean with a hearty breakfast and a good cup of coffee. An interesting cafe name with an interesting mismatch of industrial and rustic design elements.

Nutmeg is cosy cafe located at Bangsar Village 2. It is just beside Haagen Dazz. It’s always crowded especially during breakfast time. Fyi, their French Toast served with banana, almond and butterscotch was very fluffy!

The Front Door is another hidden gem located at Grocer’s Inn along Jalan Sultan on the same street as Coffee Amo.The ambiance protrudes a rustic feel. The brick walls concept looks simple yet elegant. Their signature toasts or open sandwiches are highly recommended, and shouldn’t be missed.

LOKL Coffee Co
LOKL is a neighbourhood cafe with an internal courtyard situated in historic heart of KL. It is a cafe with great selection of breakfast to choose from. Their buttermilk chicken chop with onion gravy is amazing!

AMPM Cafe is located in located in USJ and their eggs benedict salmon on onion scones is my favourite! The scones tasted really good, and I wish I could have more. A new delightful way to savour your smoked salmon on scones instead of the conventional toast.

Upstairs Cafe
Upstairs cafe is another hipster cafe that located in SS12 which is right above the Bawang Merah. You indeed have to walk up a flight of stairs to reach Upstairs Cafe. Tons of dessert and pastries to choose from. It has really good velvet cake and velvet muffin.

Pickle & Fig is located in a nice cosy neighbourhood that serves healthy fresh gourmet panini, sandwiches and smoothie. Their churros is warm and delectable with the caramel sauce. It would a nice place to hang out with friends as they do provide some card.

Beam is located in an industrial area at Sri Damansara which one might has never expected that there’s a decent cafe shop located in this area. Tea sponge cake served with thick sweet coffee sauce. is one of their highlight here.

Thirdwave is another hangout place for gourmet cuisine, real hearty food and speciality coffee. A decent cafe which gives a relaxing feeling for me to have a comfort food for breakfast. The breakfast here is pretty unique especially their retro scotch egg which is served with shredded beets.
