Honey Butter Toasted Brioche
The toasted brioche has a nice and slightly crisp outer layer while remaining moist and soft inside. The sweetness was just right. Served with extra honey on the side for added sweetness.
Pistachio Financier, Flourless Chocolate Cake & Pecan Tartlet
The pistachio financier was very dense with a sticky texture. Pecan tartlet was pretty good as it has a nice balance of nutty flavour and sweetness. To my surprise, the flourless chocolate cake was delectable with a decent amount of dark chocolate in it.
Green Tea Red Bean Cake, Mixed Berry Tartlet & Lemon Eclair
Wasn’t a fan of red bean but the green tea red bean cake was quite nice. Mixed berry tartlet was so darn delicious! Berries were fresh and the filling was sourish and sweet, really yummy. Lemon eclair has a nice tangy filling with good crust on the outside.
Plain & Raisin Scones
Served with homemade strawberry jam and clotted cream. The scones lack in butter and fragrance.
Assorted Sandwiches & Bruschetta
I personally love the tuna and smoked salmon ones. Tuna was rich in flavour, perfectly complement the grilled bread. Smoked salmon was fresh and flavourful.
Decent amount of filling and nice amount of heat.

THIRTY8 Signature Cake (RM45)
Served with coconut sherbet, caramel sauce, and fresh raspberries. Made up of a few different layers comprising chocolate mousse, chocolate cake, salted caramel bits and a fine piece of chocolate in the core. The caramel sauce was delightful with just the right sweetness. Every bite was just perfect.
Straight From The Oven Chocolate Cake (RM35)
Served with raspberry sherbet, raspberries and vanilla anglaise sauce. Slightly dense warm chocolate cake with a softer center tastes amazing paired with the berrylicious sherbet. Also, the vanilla anglaise sauce was so fragrant and flavourful that it elevates the taste of the cake.
