A humble and decent coffee shop that serves affordable and worthy local delights!
Spacious and clean.
Cendol (RM4.50)
Homemade fragrant dark green pandan cendol served with shaved ice and flavoured by fresh coconut milk and gula melaka. What made this so yummy was the gula melaka! So good and perfect for a hot weather like this!
Mee Siam (RM6.00)
A noodle salad of spice-fried beehoon server with cumber, egg, fishcake, fried shallots and a twist of freshly cut lime. Topped with homemade tamarind dressing. A simple noodle dish but what makes it so addictive it’s sweet, sour and spicy simultaneously. Portion was quite big, and it was a lil spicy for me. I suggest you to try out a lil of the sambal first before you mix everything together in case you cant take the heat 😛
Nasi Lemak + Ayam Goreng Kunyit ( 6.00 + 12.50 )
Traditional Malacca Nasi Lemak served with fried anchovies, groundnuts, egg, sliced cucumber and kangkung air served with homemade sambal. Fried chicken was good but the bone somehow is more than me meat haha. Love their anchovies as it’s quite salty which suits my liking when it comes to eating Nasi Lemak.
Otak-Otak (RM7.00)
Home-styled aromatic frilled fish fillet wrapped in banana leaf. This is really scrumptious! Though it doesnt taste like the typical kind of Otak-otak haha. But I prefer this over those! A lil spicy for me but that’s what makes it so delectable.
Popiah Pernakan (RM4.50)
Peranakan spring roll with turnip stuffing, fresh coriander, fried shallots, bean sprouts, egg strips, cucumber and a dash of gula melaka sweet sauce, garlic and grounded red chili. They do mention that their popiah wrappings are freshly made daily. And their wrapping was quite thick but the fillings was sufficient and fresh. Slurp!
