A relative newcomer to the city’s Italian restaurant scene, Portofino offers that much needed neighborhood-feel with great service and excellent authentic Italian cuisine.

Baked Onion Soup (RM16)
Onions are caramelized in order to bring out their sweet flavor. Thick and flavourful. 

Mixed Grilled Vegetables (RM26)
Marinated mixed grilled vegetables of eggplant, zucchini, capsicums, carrots, oyster mushroom and extra virgin olive oil. Grilling vegetables is a great way to bring out its natural sweetness. Juicy and yummy. 

Seafood Salad (RM30)
Sauteed fresh prawns, squid rings, scallops, baby octopus served with black olives, romaine lettuce, tomato, carrot, cucumber, red onion, capsicum, green apple slices with an exquisite house dressing.
Fresh greens and seafoods drizzled with a delicious homemade vinaigrette dressing. Green apple slices were very refreshing and gives the salad an extra crunch. One of the best salad i’ve ever had.

Pappardelle w/ Duck Ragout (RM34)
Freshly made pappardelle served with duck ragout sauce, extra virgin olive oil and fresh basil leaves.
Pappardelle was fresh and cooked to al-dente, coated in a lovely sauce that has a nice balance in terms of flavour. The sauce has a light smoky flavour as it was cooked with smoked duck breast.

Seafood Spaghetti (RM38)
Homemade fresh seafood spaghetti sauteed in olive oil, prawns, squids, baby octopus, scallops, mussels, clams, garlic, chili, olive oil, basil in fresh homemade fish stock.
Spaghetti was quite thick and tad overdone but the delicious seafood and sauce made up for it. 

Four Seasons Pizza (RM36)
Tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, turkey ham, grilled chicken, mushrooms and black olives.
Thin crusted pizza with four different toppings. Great, delicate with distinct flavors. Awesomely thin and crispy pizza crust. Pizza is everything! 

Chicken Cordon Bleu (RM40)
Exquisite chicken breast stuffed with mozzarella cheese and turkey ham, served with mix colorful sauteed vegetables and white mushroom sauce. The entire dish is lightened up by these tiny little chopped vegetables. 

Tiramisu (RM16)
Made with coffee, almond liqueur, mascarpone cheese, sprinkled with cocoa powder.
An elegant and fabulous Italian dessert that should not be missed when dining in an Italian restaurant. Light and delicious tiramisu cake.

Creme Brulee (RM16)
Cooked cream custard with caramelized sugar.
The cream custard was absolutely delicious and smooth with a hint of tangy flavour from the lemon zest.

Affogato (RM19.9)
One of the simplest and most blissful treat in this world, the marriage of two of Italy’s finest exports, espresso and gelato. There’s a little twist to this beauty as kahlua was added which elevates the taste without overpowering.
