Furniture Company and
SOFO massage chair launch. The event was held on
26th February 2017and placed at the Putrajaya International Convention Center (PICC) from 1-3PM.

The CEO of SOFO, Mr. K.L. Chen and the founder of SOFO, Mr. Yuan Zhen Ping was invited as guests
of the event.

As technology advances, smart home living is inevitable. While market demands are seemed to be increasing with the quality of our life, and the future of smart
furniture and home living should not be underemphasised.
Technological advancements such as the internet of things and cloud computing
further propelled smart home living. Manufacturers are creating more styles,
and the price of products are more accessible than ever before. What used to be
a thing of futurist sci-fi movies are now becoming a reality, and products of
such are very welcoming to the market.

This is especially evident in 2016, as the global economy causes
almost every industry to struggle, smart home living thrived against all odds.
A report by Research and Markets shows that smart furniture can expect an
8-10% annual growth in the upcoming five years. Also, by 2018 it will reach $68 billion in industry
worth.

“MONSPACE Multinational Corp taps into the endless potential of
smart home living, riding on the market’s anticipation for
convenience and  simplicity in our everyday life, and their increasing purchasing power. I know
smart home living is here to make our lives more elegant, convenient and
pleasant,” said
Dato’ Sri Jessy Lai, CEO of MONSPACE Multinational Corp.
Since it was founded in 2014, MONSPACE never stops seeking breakthrough
and innovation. It boldly explored territories such as online shopping,
tourism, aviation, entertainment, property, finance, agriculture, F&B and
telecommunications. It’s new investment in SOFO further seeks to bring high-tech and modern home living into Malaysia.

SOFO was founded in 1997 and is based in Guangzhou. It is a corporation
that specialises in the research, production, sales and service of health
assets. It focuses mainly on four pillars which are the  chinese massage, physiotherapy,
beauty, and exercise. They can be purchased in more than 80 countries worldwide.

At the event, MONSPACE has launched a massage chair which is produced and designed by SOFO. The description given to the chair was “elegant, young, and energetic”, radically changing the perception that massage chairs takes up too much space.
“This chair reclines to a maximum of 132 degrees. Apparently, users
only need to leave 10cm between the chair and the wall behind it. This is a
great improvement compared to conventional massage chairs, where 0.5-1.0m is
required,” said Chen. The key in this radical improvement is an in-built motor
which moves the chair forwards on its track as it reclines in order to save space in the
homes of the user.
“Our hectic lifestyles are so stressful that many people are looking
for a comfortable and affordable massage chair that has a combination of many functions in
one. After a hectic day at work, relaxing at home and having your sore muscles massaged
is immensely helpful to both our physical and mental wellbeing,” said Chen.

“The multi-functional massage chair can be purchased at MONSPACE Mall. Futhermore, interested parties can feel free to visit our website for further details,” said
Dato’ Sri Jessy Lai.

Dato’ Sri Jessy Lai also said that the public can expect more
collaborations between MONSPACE and SOFO in future. “We are currently in the process of
forming a research centre for smart furniture in order to provide even more high quality
options for consumers. SOFO has the best expertise in the field, and I strongly believe that our collaboration will be a fantastic one.”
