Maison Francaise is located along the Jalan Changkat Kia Peng. It’s a solitary white bungalow which serves French cuisine. It would make you feel like you’re dining in your own house, a nice elegant french house.
Stepping into this place was love at first sight. For a fine dining restaurant, seatings are quite aplenty. But reservations are advised to be made.
There is a swimming pool at the outdoor seating area.

RM58.00 ++ per person. It’s compulsory for everyone to order one afternoon tea set
which includes coffee or tea.
The middle one is Guanaja chocolate verrine.
The chocolate texture was very smooth, its like eating melted chocolate.
Clockwise from the
#Smoked salmon sandwich. A tasty home-made treat made
with smoked salmon in a crispy toast enriched. The salmon was very fresh.
#Pain aux Raisins. The bread which looks like a snail. Aiks*
#Praline tartelette. A cute lil tiny sweet tooth.
#Lemon madeleine. A little French butter cake flavoured with lemon juice and zest.
#Cannele de Bordeaux. It’s a French kind of custard enclosed
by a thin caramelised crust. It’s just like some fluffy pancakes.
#Chicken petit pan. A tasty french bread with chicken,
lettuce, tomatoes and a mustard sauce.
# Fry Milk with cinamon. Slice of bread soaked in beaten
eggs with milk and cinnamon and toasted in a frying pan.
For lunch and dinner:
Starter. Nibbling the bread with the butter. Appetite ; instantly on.
Butter was really good. Don’t mind me, I’ll just have that whole chunk.
Mushroom Soup. Delectably delicious with bits of crunch.
Red Tuna Salad. Two thin slices of tuna seasoned with salt served with rockets and peppers. Everything here was indeed fresh, its original flavours and tastes shine through.
I couldn’t really remember the name as this was a year ago. if I’m not mistaken, this is grilled beef tenderloin served with Sichuan pepper sauce, potatoes and cheese steawer. Tho it was a year ago, I could remember the taste as I savour this beauty. The beef was cooked to perfection. Pepper sauce enhances the flavour of it without camouflaging the original taste of the beef.
Sea Bass Fillet. I don’t remember the name of this as well.
The bottom of the fillet is rice. Overall, the taste was on point.
Dessert platter. The heart shapes in white and pink are Vanilla and Raspberry Cake. It tastes a bit like pudding. In the middle is vanilla ice cream. It indeed concludes the meal with a sweet feeling.
Maison Francaise is indeed a fine dining restaurant especially for you to date with your love one. Fine French cuisine could be definitely be one of your choices here.
