A cosy, instagram-friendly, hipster and trending cafe with a forested view. The one and only cafe serving nasi lemak cake right now! The presentation of their signature rainy day coffee caught my attention the most.
Rainy day coffee (RM13++)
A beautiful fluffy cloud of cotton candy placed over a hot cuppa black coffee. The hot steam from the coffee will slowly melt the cotton candy above it, forming a rain-like appearance. The lovely presentation made up for the not so aromatic and tad too acidic coffee. Coffee taste was similar to local Kopi O.
Nasi Lemak Cheese Cake (RM15++)
A rather weird but interesting combination of cucumber gelatin, glutinous rice, peanuts, topped with spicy chili flakes and crispy anchovies. Many textures could be found in this nasi-lemak-like cake. Try this out if you’re feeling adventurous!
Deep Fried Lotus Root (RM16++)
Crispy fried sliced lotus root served with salted egg yolk and butter. Thinly sliced, crispy and fried till golden brown lotus root which will make you crave for it all day long. Deliciously flavoursome snack indeed.
