La Cafe Memoire is a cafe which serves affordable and authentic Italian n French cuisine.
It it situated in TTDI , cafe haven.
Plenty of seating indoor. They ought to have better air ventilation tho
as the kitchen within the dining area.
Outdoor seating was simple and cute too. Tho it will be a bit warm.
Smoke Duck Salad (rm 9) Mix salad, sliced smoked duck, cherry tomatoes, cucumber and cheese.
It was a nice appetizer. A plate of refreshing salad could never go wrong, especially if the smoked duck slices are like duck bacon. Yum.
Pork Chop (rm 25)
Pork chop marinated in Mongolian BBQ spices served with sweet potato mash.
This main was really delicious. A good combination of fat and meat for the pork chop.
The spices were really different, quite tasty too. N the sweet potato mash was just heavenly.
Escargot with Cheese Sauce (rm 18)
sauteed escargot and shimeji mushroom with butter herb served together with brioche bun and cheese sauce. As usual, any escargot dishes will be packed with flavour from the butter. It was yummy and creamy. The brioche bun got to soak up every last drip of cheese butter sauceeee.
Creamy Smoked Salmon Pasta (rm 20)
Smoked salmon, mushroom and garlic. The fettuccine was cooked to al dente.
It’s not doubt that it’s a creamy dish, it wasn’t cheesy at all. Heh, was expecting smth else.
But the smoked salmon was really fresh, and it was cooked !
I also had another dish which was the pork burger (rm 12.50)
No picture tho, totally forgot about it. The patty was pork (which you can choose from pork, beef or chicken) served with tomato, fries and salad on the side. The patty was really juicy and it was actually minced pork. Seasoned well.
Nutty Bacon Sundae (rm 11)
Kalamansi sorbet, vanilla ice cream, caramelized mix nuts, caramel sauce and crispy bacon.
This is THE dessert to try. The vanilla ice cream with the caramel sauce and bacon was addictive. The kalamansi sorbet was very refreshing. Well needed after savouring delicious mains.
Tiramisu (rm 10)
A nicely executed cake topped with delicious caramel nuts and crispy caramel.
Not the best one I’ve tasted but it’s worth trying if you love tiramisu so much.
Overall, I’ve heard a lot of good reviews about the food here.
If you’re ever in the neighbourhood, this is one good option.
