Ippudo is a Japenese restaurant dedicated to ramen dining. It is located in Bangsar Shopping Cenre.
The arrangements of the furniture are a bit close to each other. Not much ‘privacy’. They do have private areas, be sure to call and reserve the seats.
Lunch Combo A with 2 green teas (rm 29++)
First up we have the Kiss of Geisha, This cocktail is a peach flavoured cocktail with pomegranate seeds. The cocktail was good like any other cocktails you can find elsewhere. It’s cheaper tho compared to the ones you can find in a bar. It’s introductory price is rm 15 ++.
Next we have, Sweet Crispy Corn. It’s corn was sweet 😀 and my guess that the batter is actually tempura batter. It tastes awesome! (rm 13++)
Shiromaru Motoaji
The texture of the noodles can be chosen based on your desire. You can have soft, normal or hard noodles. The broth I ordered was Shiromaru Motoaji. It’s the traditional ramen broth with black fungus, pork belly and bean sprout. The noodle was a bit too fine for my liking. Other than that, everything else was great. A nice satisfying bowl of ramen.
The lunch set I’ve ordered comes with a piece of pork bun and tamago. I did not really fancy the pork bun because the mayonnaise in it overpowers the taste and texture of the dish. The sauce on the tamago is spicy fish egg in mayonnaise. It was a nice ‘snack’.
Green Tea Panna Cotta
Next is the green tea panna cotta. Tho I’ve never tried the real Italian deal, I could say that I like this as my dessert. The green tea is a nice flavour and the panna cotta was smooth and silky.
Cabbage with Sesame Sauce
Meh, who wouldn’t love their salad drizzled with sesame sauce. I am guilty for enjoying my greens with delicious sesame sauce. This is no exception. I love this platter.
