Food Talk is a restaurant that you could eat with your friends on a sensible budget.
The place can occupy a lot of people at one go.
So don’t worry if you’re coming here with a big group of friends or family.
Blue Hawaii (RM8.90++)
The drinks they serve are really well presented, but of course the necessity of colouring is needed to achieve that haha. Blue Hawaii is their most breathtaking signature drink. From its appearance, your mind would be brought away from the city life to the salm sunset beaches of Honululu, Hawaii. It’s like you are chilling on the Hawaii beach.
Tester (RM8.90++)
Their special tester drink is for you to ‘test’ three different and special flavours of ice-blended goodness. For me, the texture was like jelly haha. Blue coloured one tasted like blue hawaii which I have stated above. Yellow coloured one was mango while the green coloured one was apple.
To be honest, when they serve the food, it was not what I had expected about the presentation. The picture on the menu is definitely for illustration purposes. So don’t put your hopes too high when you realize the food looks so good in the menu 😛
Mother’s Fried Rice (RM9.90++)
An all-time favourite favourite signature fried rice mixed with their special tasty sauce and tossed with egg, ham and fish cakes. It wasnt too oily. The portion is quite big and worth the price.
Sunrise Chicken Chop (RM18.90++)
Charbroiled chicken chop coated with a smooth, silky and cheesy buttermilk sauce. Sprinkled with a lovely hint of black pepper coarse, and diced pineapples. Served with coleslaw and criss-cross potatoes. And sadly, they served us normal fries instead of criss-cross fries. Chicken chop is still okay, and cheesy buttermilk sauce is cheesy enough to enhance the whole dish.
Barcelona Chicken Chop (RM16.90++)
Another kind of charbroiled chicken chop blanketed with ham, sliced sausages and melted cheese. All this coated with a creamier and delicious white sauce. Served with coleslaw and criss cross potatoes. A classic chicken chop again with normal fries instead of criss-cross potatoes. It’s almost the same as sunrise chicken chop just that the topping is different. Melted cheese was quite good to pair up with the sausages.
Garlic Butter Charbroiled Fish Chop (RM17.90++)
Charbroiled fish chop coated with their signature garlic buttermilk sauce and sprinkled with some fried garlic. Served with coleslaw and criss cross potatoes. (Normal fries AGAIN) The garlic taste was strong enough and indeed it gives a strong aroma. Fish Chop was quite thin, a thicker fish chop would taste better.
