Flingstones Cafe is well known for its unique marriage of exquisite espresso and marvelous milk the sizzling and so forth that would ensure you to fall in love with it. Upon stepping in, the strong smell of fresh coffee beans would reassure you that you are at the right place to fix your coffee cravings.
‘Chu Yao Char’ Angel Hair (RM18)
Spicy wok fried angel hair with chu yao char & pork bacon. Surprisingly it didn’t turn out too bad as it wasn’t too oily or dry. It’s slightly the same as aglio olio just that it’s a more local and Chinese style.
Pork Bacon Carbonara (RM18)
Creamy spaghetti with crispy bacon chips. The portion is really big and you could share it with your friends cause trust me, you wouldn’t want to eat it all by yourself. It’s really delectable as it is ethereal and creamy and the crispy lil bacon chips made this dish a top notch.
Oink Oink Ribs (full – RM33) (half – Rm28)
Char grill pork ribs with sour plum sauce, sweet potato fries and mini salad.
I suggest that a full slack of ribs is more worth it. The pork ribs were sweet, rich and heavy. The ribs are renowned far and wide for their smoky perfection. And it is rare to find a cafe that serves good ribs.
Smooth Criminal (RM14)
It’s smooth alright, it stole my heart. This affogato was really good and I wish I could have more of it. The ice cream they used was from Haagen-Dazs and the bottom is filled with grass jelly which was uniquely weird enough. But, it tasted pretty awesome. The espresso tasted heavenly as it was round and smooth which creates a perfect match with my favorite ice cream brand.
