Cafe Barbera is a lovely restaurant to satisfy your Italian craving. Situated along Jalan Maarof.
Don’t be mistaken it for a house,  Be sure to drive slow to spot this restaurant and parking.
The restaurant is very cozy, perfect for any occasions.
They even have private rooms if you want to have a more private Italian dining experience.
First up we have the potato gnocchi (rm 25++) , beef parppadelle (rm 29++) , seabass fillet
(rm 45++), smoked duck pizza (rm 29++) and cappuccino shakerato (rm 12++).
The potato gnocchi was a bit heavy, it’s best to share this dish. This is great Italian comfort food.
Next we have the smoked duck pizza which was the bomb. Mama mia look at the delicious pizza ! The smoked duck on the thin crust pizza was delicious. I would definitely order this again if I were to come here next time 😛
The sea-bass fillet was nothing special. Tho the fish was fresh.
Italians sure do love their food well seasoned.
The parppadelle was cooked to perfection. Not too soft nor hard.
However the beef sauce was a bit  too peppery for my liking.
Second visit to Cafe Barbera. This time they changed the menu. And no, they don’t have the smoked duck pizza anymore T_T
Tour of Italy (rm 30++)  Pizza combination of two flavours.
I chose Margherita Pizza and Pesto, Cheese with Mushroom Pizza.
Cheese overload ! HEHE. The margherita pizza was alright, nothing really special.
The veggie pizza was really nice tho. Love the combination of vegetables. A ‘healthier’ alternative.
Vongole on Spaghetti (rm 24)
Spaghetti cooked with script venus, olive oil, clam, garlic and basil. In case you didn’t know, script venus is something like squid. Overall this dish is light and satisfying enough because of the calms.
My Agnello with Au Jus (rm 38)
Grilled Australian lamb cutlets served on a bed of green pea puree, asparagus, diced avocado and peppers. The lamb cutlets were tender enough and it was reasonable for the price.
All in all, a very hearty Italian meal at Cafe Barbera.
