Phu Quoc Travel Guide

Phu Quoc regularly ranks as one of the most affordable island destinations in the world. It is the kind of place where you could get stuck for weeks just chilling out in a hammock.

DAY 1

Hop Khau Vi Ba Mien
Pho is the popular street food in Vietnam which consists of broth, rice, noodles, herbs and beef slices.

25 Tran Hung Dao, KP7, Duong Dong.

Crab House
The food is fresh and their prawns are big and juicy. The crab house special sauce is really awesome! Each serving comes with a French loaf which you should really try dipping it inside the sauce. It is full on flavor and you can’t stop till you clean the whole bowl up.

Dinh Cau Shrine

A small temple perched on the rocky outcrop, overlooking the beach. This would be a great place to go for sunset. There is also a lighthouse situated right next to temple.

Sunset Sanoto Beach Club

Sunset Sanoto Resort is blessed with the most beautiful sunset view of the country.

It offers traditional environment with, bamboo and wooden structure. The sunset was magnificent yet peaceful.

DAY 2

Starfish Beach

A nice place to visit if you like to see starfishes and enjoy walking down the beach. It’s not very crowded. It would be better to visit this place during low tide.

The drive there is difficult and almost not do-able with a car. Going there by scooter is recommended but the journey will not be comfortable as the road is quite bumpy.

Rach Vem, Phu Quoc, Kien Giang, Vietnam.

Rach Vem Floating Village
There are also few seafood restaurants located at the starfish beach.

The boiled crab was so fresh and good!

Steamed fish with ginger.

Aroi Dessert Cafe
A very good place to chill and hide away from the heavy sunlight. The decorations make a cozy platform towards the beach. The matcha roll cake is really huge!

Bun Cha Ha Noi
One of my favorite meal in Phu Quoc! Bun Cha is the only thing they serve and you don’t need anything else! It is served with grilled pork and sausage. The broth is really flavorful! So good!
