Desa Dairy Farm
DESA is a household name in Sabah because most Sabahans grow up drinking milk from Desa Dairy Farm, which produces nearly one million liters of fresh milk annually.



Remember to buy some grass or milk to feed the cows and goats! They look really hungry!

By far the largest mosque in Kota Kinabalu, the Kota Kinabalu City Mosque is even possibly the most beautiful one in Malaysia.

Kedai Kopi Fook Yuen 
Roti kahwin is very good here. Wonderful traditional toasted bread with kaya and margarine. Definitely a good breakfast local joint.

Seng Hing Coffee Shop 
Tom yum noodles was really good as it the broth was very rich, thick and unique. Don’t forget to try out Tuaran mee as it is one of the local delicacies.

Kedai Kopi Melanian 
One of the top places for sang nyuk mee in the local neighbourhood. The taste is slightly mild compared to Kedai Kopi Jia Siang.

Kedai Kopi Jia Siang 
One of the best sang nyuk mee I’ve ever eaten in Kota Kinabalu. The pork was soft and tender. Remember to ask for more fried pork lards!

Ang Kim Lam Coffee Shop 
The spinach noodles here is something unique. Definitely need to try out the fried bitter gourd and chicken feet.

A very unique kind of “wan tan ho” which uses different kind of noodles. The noodles is cooked with enough “wok hei”.

Kedai Kopi Fatt Kee 
This shop is located just right below of Ang’s Hotel. Must try the oyster sesame chicken wings. Heavenly-taste of good cooked chicken wings!

A favourite spot for tourists and locals alike. It has air con and outdoor seatings. Steamed prawns were really good. Juicy and fresh prawns!

Famous for their Peking Duck dish which comes with a huge pot of duck broth. The fried mantao was really good too.
