Samplings On The Fourteenth @ Berjaya Times Square Hotel



An enchanting view of Kuala Lumpur's skyline from the 14-th floor. An exquisite restaurant which serves authentic French and Italian cuisine. It's undeniable that their service is professional and the atmosphere gives me the tranquil feeling which indeed allows me to enjoy my dinner here. 


Seafood Combinations (RM84nett) 
Grilled salmon, sea bass, prawns, sea scallops and baby lobsters. Served with meuniere sauce and sautéed spinach. If you are in dilemma of choosing what to eat and you are a seafood lover, this would probably be your best choice. Seafood platter of everything delicious. Everything served was really fresh, Especially the grilled salmon, I can say that it's cooked perfectly by just looking at how the chef makes a few cut on it. Meuniere sauce enhances the seafood so well 
and I really enjoyed my dinner. 


Hokkaido Scallop (RM96nett) 
Served with baked potatoes and garnished with grilled vegetables and sauce (Béarnaise / porcini & morel mushrooms / bordelaise sauce / Sarawak peppercorn / truffle oil beef jus). Don't underestimate the portion of it as it is actually quite fulfilling even though it looks small. Scallops were really fresh and succulent. Like how the way they cook it. 


Creme Brûlée (RM21nett) 
Coffee and ginger creme brûlée with orange sorbet and pistachio tulle. 
It is so scrumptious and i couldn't get enough of it. Everything was just right in portion. Just the right touch of sweetness, and it is one of the best creme brûlée I have ever had. Definitely coming back for this. The presentation does not only make it seem nicer, it actually makes it taste nicer as well. As they say, we eat with our eyes too.

Definitely a tranquil yet romantic restaurant to dine in especially with your other half :)
