Yellow Brick Road @ Damansara Heights

Yellow Brick Road is a newly opened brunch spot in Damansara Heights.

This cafe was inspired by literally yellow brick road. The interior is quirky and fun.
Seats aplenty but note that it's really packed on the weekends for brunch.

Eggs Norwegian (rm 25)
Poached egg on potato rosti , served with smoked salmon, avocado slices and passion fruit Hollandaise sauce. The potato rosti was really special, a surprisingly delicious substitute of the plain old white bread. It was really crispy and it actually tasted a bit like fried onions.
Overall the dish was enjoyable. Nothing can go wrong with this breakfast favourite.

Smooshie (rm 8) A mix of passion fruit, orange and yoghurt. A very refreshing drink. Delicious and healthy, so you won't feel bad :P

I Wanna Be Kaya (rm 22) French toast with poached pear , coconut mascapone cheese and caramel kaya sauce. The french toast was cooked nicely. The only let down was the poached pear, I personally would like it to be more soft. Overall, the kaya sauce marries the french toast well.

Popcorn caramel on chocolate cheesecake sprinkled with muesli and walnuts. It was a really nice cake. The cheesecake was not overpowering. The cake had a really nice balance.
