It is an unique experience having an authentic English afternoon tea in the drawing room. If one prefers nature more, it is recommended to have afternoon tea at the Verandah (outdoor) with a view of the garden. it is just like having a picnic in a garden.

The Authentic English Afternoon Tea

The English Afternoon Tea (RM70++ per person) comes with warm plain and raisin scones served with cream and strawberry jam. A pot of tea is included as well.

I ordered the rose tea. The first row consists of croissant salmon sandwich, chicken pie with wild mushroom and open tuna with sour breads. The second row consists of apple crumble, fruit cake and fresh fruit tartlet. The third row consist of carrot cheesecake, creme brûlée and chocolate brownies.

Overall, one should definitely visit this historical and beautiful place especially the garden. Service was professional. The tea was good while the afternoon tea could be better.

It is better to make reservations for the afternoon tea.
